In 1947, the year of Indian Independence, a significant endeavor began to redefine the landscape of Indian hospitality in Puri. Puri Hotel emerged from humble beginnings, starting with just three small rooms housed within a single-story building on lease, brimming with enthusiasm. Its founders, the late Makhanlal Halder and the late Rani Halder, were visionaries ahead of their time. They understood that true success lay in their dedication and commitment to “Create a hotel not merely constructed with stones and concrete, but with care.” True to their vision, the personalized service and heartfelt amenities of Puri Hotel have enticed guests to return year after year.
